I usually do not give stops when I am behind the screen. Only if I go away from my desk. But as I leverage very little I don't need sl neither. If you take the total losses caused by stops and offset them against the few times that a stop would have paid up the former is the best option, if you look at it during 1 year time frame. Also I think stops are a paradign. Everybody always tells youyou have to place them, especially brokers. Sure so they can execute them. Do not forget that "stops" are a business on its own within the forex industry! I have worked 20 years as an intervabk trader and never used stops. The few times I did I was alñways hit in a disputable fashion....But of course: low leverage is key!
